Our Statement of Faith

We believe in the triune personality of God; that is, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, with distinct personal attributes, but without division of nature, essence, or being.

We believe the Bible is the divinely inspired Word of God and is, therefore, inerrant, infallible, and all authoritative.

We believe that Jesus Christ is God the Son who came to the earth in the form of a man. He was born of the virgin Mary who conceived Him of the Holy Spirit. He lived a perfect and sinless life, died a sacrificial death, was raised from the dead, and ascended to heaven where He now sits at the right hand of God the Father until His return.

We believe that the substitutionary atonement made by Jesus Christ provides the only way to salvation. His shed blood provides the only means by which a person can be redeemed from sin, reconciled to God, and declared acceptable before God. We believe that man is by nature a sinner and, except for the atonement made by Jesus Christ, is helpless and hopeless.

We believe that salvation is by grace through faith and is obtained when a person repents of his sins and believes in the gospel by accepting Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.

We believe that God’s gift of salvation, once accepted, is eternal.

We believe that the Church of Jesus Christ is the body of born-again believers from every tribe, and tongue, and people, and nation.

We believe a New Testament church is comprised of a local congregation of baptized believers, associated by covenant in faith and fellowship of the gospel; observing the two ordinances of Christ, operating under His Lordship, and governed by His Word. While both men and women are gifted for service, we believe that the office of pastor is limited to men as qualified by Scripture.

We believe that Jesus Christ appointed two ordinances in His Church to be observed until His return. They are Baptism and the Lord’s Supper. We believe that both ordinances are symbolic and hold no saving power in and of themselves.

We believe it is the duty and privilege of every follower of Christ and of every church of the Lord Jesus Christ to endeavor to make disciples of all nations.

We are an interdenominational ministry that seeks to serve and cooperate with all segments of the body of Christ. We realize that there is division in the body of Christ over matters not set forth in our Statement of Faith. However, our policy is to focus on what we have in common instead of focusing on what divides and separates us. Therefore, we will seek to serve and cooperate with all segments of the body of Christ who affirm the minimum Statement of Faith set forth above.
